About St. Philip's College (Alamo Colleges)

St. Philip's College is one of the five colleges in the Alamo Colleges District and the most recognized trade school in San Antonio. Founded in 1898, it is one of the oldest historically Black colleges in Texas and a Hispanic-Serving Institution.
