Pima Medical Institute - Denver

Pima Medical Institute - Denver is a branch campus of Pima Medical Institute, a private, employee-owned career college founded in Tucson, Arizona in 1972 by Richard and JoAnn Luebke. The Denver campus has served the area since 1988 and occupies a six-story building at 7475 Dakin Street, off US-36 and Pecos Street, with RTD rail and bus connections nearby. The campus is institutionally accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). Certificate programs in Denver include Medical Assistant, Dental Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, Sterile Processing Technician, and Veterinary Assistant, each running about nine months, along with a Nursing Assistant/Nurse Aide program of about six weeks and a 40-hour Expanded Duties Dental Assistant course. Associate degree programs include Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapist Assistant, Radiography, Respiratory Therapy, and Surgical Technology. Classes are offered on day and evening schedules, and student services include tutoring, academic advising, career services, and counseling referrals. According to federal College Navigator data, the campus enrolled 664 undergraduate students in fall 2024, operates with an open admission policy, and reported a 73 percent graduation rate for full-time, first-time students who began in 2021-22.
