Lincoln College of Technology's Houston campus is Lincoln Tech's newest location, celebrating its grand opening on February 18, 2026 at 2000 South Lockwood Drive — the company's second Texas campus alongside Grand Prairie, where it has operated since 1966 (Lincoln Technical Institute itself dates to 1946 in Newark, New Jersey). The campus teaches four skilled-trades programs: automotive service technology (with both diploma and associate service-management tracks taught by ASE-certified instructors), electrical and electronic systems technology, air conditioning, refrigeration and heating systems technology, and welding and fabrication technology with pipe. Facilities include an auto shop with industry-grade workstations, bays and lifts, welding booths and fabrication stations, and dedicated electrical and HVAC work areas. Employer partners at opening included Group 1 Automotive, Johnson Controls International, and Harris County Precinct 2 — fields projected to add more than 240,000 jobs in Texas by 2032. The campus operates as a branch of Lincoln's ACCSC-accredited Indianapolis campus, and career services and financial aid for those who qualify are available. Because the campus is new, graduation and placement statistics are not yet available.
