The college is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and enrolled 9,359 students as of fall 2024, all undergraduates, with a student-to-faculty ratio of 19 to 1. Health programs are a substantial part of the college and include registered nursing, respiratory care therapy, radiologic technology, emergency medical technology, dietetic technician, and medical billing and coding. Engineering technology degrees cover civil, mechanical, and electrical and electronics technology, along with CAD and drafting certificates. Restaurant, culinary and catering management is offered at the associate level, and the college also awards a veterinary technology degree. Separately from its credit catalog, the college's Workforce Development and Professional Development Center divisions run in-person, non-credit trade training at the Mount Vernon Extension Center, including an NCCER-certified HVAC certificate and a Foundations in Construction program awarding NCCER Core and OSHA 30, with pre-apprenticeship pathways carrying EPA 608. The college also resells a separate catalog of third-party online career courses through an ed2go storefront; those are self-paced and use virtual rather than hands-on labs, and are not college-taught programs. Classes are available days, evenings and weekends, with online and hybrid options, and the college participates in federal and New York State financial aid programs.
