Ivy Tech Community College - Indianapolis

Ivy Tech Community College is Indiana's statewide public community college system, founded in 1963, and its Indianapolis campus is headquartered at 50 W. Fall Creek Parkway N. Drive, which also serves as the address of record for the college's system office. The Indianapolis campus serves Marion, Boone and Hendricks counties and reported 39,168 students enrolled for the 2025/26 academic year across roughly 57 academic programs, staffed by about 317 faculty and 415 staff. In addition to the downtown Fall Creek site, the campus operates satellite locations in Lawrence and Plainfield (MADE@Plainfield), an Automotive Technology Center at the International Marketplace, and the Emerging Manufacturing Collaboration Center (EMC2) at 16 Tech. The campus took its current form in July 2021, when Ivy Tech Central Indiana was restructured and renamed Ivy Tech Indianapolis, moving from a nine-county to a three-county service area. Career and technical offerings include HVAC, welding, electrical, automotive technology, industrial technology, medical assisting and culinary arts, with day, evening, weekend, online and hybrid scheduling and fall, spring and summer start terms. The college is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, with specialized accreditation for programs including nursing and radiologic technology. Note that federal IPEDS reporting treats Ivy Tech as a single statewide institution: system-wide figures show 110,710 students enrolled, a 40 percent 150%-of-normal-time graduation rate, and a 28-to-1 student-to-faculty ratio.
